The Going Prose Con Survival Guide is out!

Have you ever wanted to go to a nerdy convention and thought “wow that seems like a lot”?

Going Prose has a handy audio guide that will take you through why you might want to go, ways to make attending more affordable, and how to get involved. Plus, survival tips from other con attendees on how to meet new people and be weird enough for the con-going crowd. It’s great if you’re thinking of attending any of the Australian cons in 2026, including SwanCon (29 May to 1 June) or Conflux (likely 2 to 5 October). There’s also useful advice for attending a con with a virtual stream, such as EasterCon (3 to 6 April), WorldCon (27-31 August) or Flights of Foundry (18 to 20 September).

Check it out today wherever you get your podcasts! You’ll find that going to your next con (or signing up for a panel, or volunteering to help out for the day) is about as much fun you can have with a hundred of your closest friends.
